Biography:
Kristia has taken quite a unique path to get to where she is today. She began modeling at 16 and has done runway work for some of the more recognizable designer names in the world; Oscar de la Renta, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger and Bill Blass to name a few. She continued to model and matriculate through North Carolina State and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Chemistry. Two years later she received her Masters in Physical Therapy and began to build her reputation as a “fitness expert”.
Kristia has landed on the covers of many international magazines, like Oxygen, Muscle& Fitness, Runner’s World, Energy, Muscle & Fitness Hers and Physical. Her expertise made her sought out and endorsed by companies like Bowflex, MuscleTech, and LifeFitness. Later in life, Kristia's passion for acting landed her several lead and supporting roles in films, including “Descansos”, starring Gary Busey, “Robodoc”with Alan Thicke and David Faustino. She was awarded best dramatic lead for her portrayal of an abused woman in “The Touch”,by the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association. She has co-hosted local TV shows like “HotSpots” and "Health and Fitness Hotline".
Two and a half years ago, while 8 months pregnant she began her studies at the Southeastern School of Photography. Now she has added portrait photographer to the list of her passions. "I have always enjoyed photographing people. The eyes of a person in a photo intrigue me.", states Kristia. "I understand how people feel when having their picture taken. I have been on both sides of the lens. My goal is to bring out the true sense of a persons unique self in their portrait. I like to call my work visual poetry."
Kristia current work includes, families, weddings, models , and commercial photography. She works and resides in Ormond Beach Florida with her husband Mark and her daughter Soleil.
"I hope to be photographing people for the rest of my life. Every day I am excited to get up and do what I love!."

To continue to grow my photography business, and include more fashion and commercial work in the future...oh and a job that pays me to shoot on a tropical island!
